I have been quiet the last few days. That has been due in a large part to the catching up I have been doing. Since getting a job offer, I’ve migrated to a new Mac, got my first iPod, installed Ubuntu Linux on a Dell Latitude and (now) migrated my blog to WordPress.
Aside from the influx of free time, WordPress’ new version 1.5 took away my last excuse to keep patching Movable Type. The slick new default theme and new documentation wiki are the cat’s meow, and shore up major weaknesses in the Open Source CMS.
So, I’ll ask your patience as I continue tweaking. I opted to take my old design with me, which has been easier than I expected. Props go to James for keeping up on WP.
In other news I found a great in-car solution for my shuffle (on the iPodLounge forums). The VR3 FM Modulator is in Wal-Marts across the country. It charges and pipes your shuffle through your car’s stereo. Sweet.
